Weekly Raid Schedule Update.. Update

Hello Wipers,

Returning Teaching Raids, LFG form on Website, Exotics for all, oh my!

Want to start this post by thanking everyone for their patience as we’ve been working behind the scenes to gather ourselves and understand all that this new expansion has had to offer. Even though we’re in year 10 of Destiny, Bungie continues to surprise and delight us along the way. I wanted to fill you all in on some things that have happened recently in the clan and the work that has been taking place in the background to get us to where we are today.

We have gathered a group of experienced Guardians that also have a passion for helping others learn more about the game and experience the fullness of what it has to offer. You may see them in discord as our “Sherpas”. My goal has been to help any guardian who has the willingness to learn and the ability to persevere through end game activities in the game; and these Sherpas are coming alongside us to see that goal become a reality.

Furthermore, to better achieve this goal, we have set up an LFG form on the website for those looking to complete specific activities in game. This was created for those Guardians who have more specific schedule and time windows that they can play and might need a little more coordination to make work. As we receive these submissions, we will work as a team to find someone who’s able and willing to help with whatever content you’re looking to complete, and we will coordinate directly with you on Discord. 

Reminder, this is all on a volunteer basis, so timing for these activities to be completed may vary. This form will allow us to gauge interest in certain activities in game and adjust our priorities accordingly.

Next, the Raid Resources channel for Salvation’s Edge has been launched, and all Guardians should be able to view it at this time. This does not mean that we are done working on it by any means, as I view these channels more as “living documentation” that grows, changes, and adapts over time. Please continue to send notes, links, images, etc. to me directly if you have suggestions or clarification needed on any item.

Finally, we are bringing back the scheduled weekly teaching raids for Salvation’s Edge starting at 7:30 PM ET Wednesday, June 26th. I will have an event post put up shortly with 3 available learning spots to begin, as we will need 3 teachers to fill the other spots to make the runs as smooth as possible.
