Weekly Raid Schedule Update

Destiny Community: “Root of Nightmares Contest was TOO EASY

Phew… For those of you who have not been paying attention, the Destiny 2 raid community has been kicked in the teeth and left patching ourselves up. The Salvation’s Edge raid that released on Friday is by far the most difficult and mechanically dense raid we’ve ever received, and to be completely honest I still can’t believe it exists.

Last week, I released an anticipated raid schedule for this raid based on the assumption that a contest mode clear of the raid would be a tough but obtainable goal. However, it has become abundantly clear that I, along with the Mods and Sherpas in our clan, will need more time to digest this raid to understand the deeper mechanics before we begin attempting to teach others for the first time.

I am postponing our scheduled teaching raids until I feel our team, our Mods have enough understanding and resources to create a positive and comprehensive learning environment.

This raid is too good, too beautiful, too epic to allow the experience soiled by a rushed and subpar learning/teaching experience. I want us to savor this as it is the culmination of our decade long journey.
